The Map for Ham project

Project conceived and developed by the Italian radio amateur IU1FIG Diego Rispoli. The idea of developing the "Map for Radio Amateurs" arises from the need for a complete and immediate consultation on all the activities and general information concerning the amateur radio world. Published in December 2020, one of the main objectives of the project is to involve all radio amateurs and enthusiasts who are interested in it and above all from any association, club and nationality. The Map is interactive, zoomable and clickable, an easy and quick consultation on the global geographic position with useful information on amateur radio repeater links; analog, dmr, c4fm, d-star, echolink, beacon etc. The map is full of other interesting markers. A non-profit project designed for all radio amateurs, swl, and radiocommunication enthusiasts. An application, website and useful tool for anyone who wants to become a radio amateur. To ensure the publication of always updated and reliable information, the data visible in the form of markers is automatically obtained directly from the sources or with manual entry by the community. Our aim is to make the map dynamic and always updated, and this is only possible thanks to a collective collaboration (Ham Spirit).

Collaborate

Diego IU1FIG is the CO-Founder, programmer and webmaster of the MAP FOR HAM project but only thanks to the contribution of many, this project can potentially become something unique and truly useful. The map we share wants to be useful and as reliable as possible but to do this we need the help of all radio amateurs, first of all those who are managers, sysops or maintainers of the radio links assigned to them. With the appropriate form, it is possible at any time to request the insertion, modification and / or cancellation of data on the map. In the case of data external to our database, it will be necessary to contact the source responsible for the information.
If you find incorrect, obsolete or missing data, it means that the managers or managers concerned have not communicated them.
